The two mail-in items I received this afternoon continues the trend from the Japanese DVD volume releases for the first season of Kimi ni Todoke where two mail-in item campaigns were being run when the second season DVDs were being released in Japan. One involved a joint campaign between the first press editions of the live-action movie and volume 1 DVD of the second season anime where if you purchased both releases you could send in application tickets for a special album holder for the postcards that came with both releases.
The other campaign was another joint one between the first press editions of the anime’s second season OST and secret party drama/vocal CD, again if you bought both you got the opportunity send in application tickets for a special “Cast Zadankai” CD (Cast Round-table Discussion CD). These campaigns were restricted to Japanese residents only which pretty much meant foreign buyers were out of luck in obtaining these unless they had someone living in Japan to help them (which was how I managed to get them lol).
I sent in the application tickets for both items about 2-3 months ago and it’s only now that I’ve received them, it was stated on the tickets that they would be sent out in June & July however.

Have not yet listened to the CD but judging from the title, I’m assuming the voice-cast of the anime discuss various things about the anime and their work on the series.
