And in continuing more merch loot for my Kara no Kyoukai collection this month, I got in the clearfile and postcard set of the Kara no Kyoukai x Fate/Grand Order collaboration works!
According to the linked promotional page, these collaboration goods were first sold at the ufotable cafes around Japan and were later available to be ordered on ufotable’s web shop for a limited period of time, starting from the 9th of April til the 14th of May, 2016. Have already used Noppin’s shop order service last month to order a number of these goods including the B2 tapestries, luncheon mat case and the B3 clear posters.
For the B2 Tapestry designs available, I’ve put in an order for the A, C, D and F designs, basically all Kara no Kyoukai related ones XD. I did originally had the B design in the cart for order too but decided to remove it shortly before going through with the order. Might consider getting it sometime in the future if it pops up on Yahoo Japan Auctions.
Wasn’t particularly interested in getting the badges though.
The clearfile set was one I was contemplating on ordering off ufotable’s web shop (along with all the other KnK x FGO collaboration merch) but decided to get it off Yahoo Japan Auctions instead since there was one auction that sold the entire 10-set for just 3,000 yen (compared to the 4,000 yen listed price for all 10 on ufotable’s web shop).
The backside of these clearfiles contained the colour sketch line artworks of the same images on the front.
Likewise for the postcard set of this collaboration work, I obtained them from Yahoo Japan Auctions that had the same artworks as the clearfiles. These postcards were not sold on ufotable’s web shop though but were given out to customers at their cafe and dining restaurants during the KnK x FGO collaboration event, “The Garden Of Order”, that ran back from February 25th til March 9th, 2016.
Also included from the seller that sold the postcard set was this Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works coaster, kinda nice bonus even though it doesn’t have anything to do with the KnK x FGO collaboration.
That’s it for part 1 of this loot. I’m not sure when part 2 will be coming since all the other merchandise for this collaboration that I ordered off ufotable’s web shop didn’t have a specific date or month on when they’ll get shipped. I guess part of the uncertain ship date has to do with the tapestries being made to order status on the product listing, and that would take some time for them to be made from the manufacturers (as they would have to gather the materials and produce according to the demand they receive) but once they arrive I’ll be sure to make a post for it.
