First loot for 2016! More Kara no Kyoukai things to add to my collection just as mentioned in the 2015 collection update post.
This loot consists of just two posters and a doujin arrange album. First up is the C prize poster from the Ichiban Kuji Premium line for Kara no Kyoukai.
The poster is in A2-size as mentioned on the box. This was the only prize item I had yet to get from the lineup to complete it as all the other prizes (with the exception of the Double Chance prize which was basically the A & B prize bundled together) were already obtained throughout 2014 and 2015. Since I’m too lazy to take the actual poster out of the box for a photo, here is a close up picture of what the artwork looks like from the box😛.
But I did make the effort to actually take a photo of the 2nd poster from this loot! The B2-size promotional poster for the limited edition BD/DVD set of the Mirai Fukuin film. And with this I have all the B2-size promotional posters advertising the LE BD/DVDs for movies 1-7 plus the epilogue and now Mirai Fukuin. Thinking about getting all of them framed sometime in the future.
Third and final item in this loot is a doujin arrange album produced by STYLE. S called “Cho On Tsukaku” (聴音痛覚). It’s a rather old doujin album released back in 2008 when the Kara no Kyoukai films were still being released in theatres in Japan.
The album consists of 9 tracks with rock/electro arrangements of a few familiar theme songs from the movie series. These include, Oblivious, Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Yuku, Kizuato and ARIA. I had a listen to it earlier in the day and they sound okay but could’ve been better (mainly the amateur vocals that could’ve been improved), but I have to give them some slack given it is a doujin album after all.
It does have some very gorgeous artworks though which makes it almost worth it just for that.
That’s it for part 1 of this loot post! Part 2 is gonna be another Kara no Kyoukai merch loot but keeping it a surprise as to what it’ll be.
